Briargate

The Briargate neighborhood is a quiet and charming suburban part of town. Set in the northern part of  Colorado Springs, you’ll be able to drive to either end of Colorado Springs within 20 minutes. The views everywhere in Colorado are spectacular, and the Briargate neighborhood is no exception! There are lots of hiking trails for you to explore as you look into moving near the Briargate area, and in addition to the hiking trails, there are parks nearby, with green open spaces to enjoy.

Schools

School District  20 is Briargate’s opt-in district. District 20 covers the northern part of El Paso County, which also borders the Air Force Academy. The total enrollment as of 2019 was 22,000 students. There are 12 preschools, 48 Elementary Schools, 11 Middle Schools, and 10 High Schools. District 20 gives you plenty of options as to where you can send your children. Additional schooling options include charter schools such as The Classical Academy. Shopping

The most notable shopping in the Briargate neighborhood is the Promenade Shops at Briargate which contain 50 plus stores for you to browse around. Having an outdoor feel adds an extra flare that most malls don’t have. If you find yourself thirsty after walking around, conveniently located at the end is a Starbucks, so pick up your favorite drink on the way home!
