Christmas Lights in Colorado Springs

The holiday season is HERE, and we are excited to venture into our beautiful city to see all the gorgeous lights and decorations in the different neighborhoods that light up the night and bring the Christmas cheer we are all craving. Check out the list below if you are wanting to plan a few nights this holiday season strolling the streets or riding through neighborhoods to view the magic of the Christmas lights in Colorado Springs!

1: Downtown: The Festival of Lights Parade came back this year, and if you missed it on the 4th, there will still be plenty to do and see while you’re visiting the downtown area of Colorado Springs. Participate in the Holiday Stroll where you can shop for the perfect gifts and view the lights along the street. Be on the look out for pop-up shops along your walk, and maybe think about taking a stroll through Acacia Park and purchasing tickets for the skating rink while you are here. You’ll also find Santa here and even an Elf of the Shelf scavenger hunt (from participating shops)! It truly is a beautiful area to walk through this time of year as the lights twinkle as patrons enjoy the holiday festivities.

2: The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo: The Electric Safari is back in full swing as they are open for 24 nights this year! Purchase your tickets HERE to enjoy an evening walk through our amazing zoo and enjoy the Christmas lights on the beautiful mountainside, enjoying sweets and treats, and larger than life inflatable animals! Advanced tickets are required to attend the Electric Safari, and we highly recommend this event for the whole family to enjoy.
