Local farmers’ markets are a huge way the Colorado Springs community supports Colorado farmers’ from all over. By visiting and buying from local farmer’s, you not only get fresh organic food, but also support and connect with the community. There are multiple to choose from around the city and they welcome you to join them!

Located in Bancroft Park is the Old Colorado City Farmers’ Market, locals and farmers have gathered here for over 35 years. This market is special due to its loyal vendors and customers, one of the honey vendors has been a part of this market since the start. Connect with the farmers from June 11-October 15 and get to know the people who grow and produce your goods.

Since 1990, the Woodland Park Farmers’ Market has been building relationships by connecting customers to farmers’. This specific market is in the top 101 farmers’ markets nationwide and is very special to Woodland Park and Colorado Springs residents. Join them at Memorial Park in Woodland Park over the summer from June 3rd to September 30th. The market is up and running every Friday from 8am-1pm.

The Colorado Farm and Art Market is known for holding events in all seasons. The Market Meets on Saturdays at the Margarita from June 11th to October 8th from 9am-1pm. On Wednesday they meet around the Indy Building on E Vermilljo St in downtown Colorado Springs from June 8th through October 5th from 3pm-7pm. Along with their summer market, they have a winter wonderland market that meets in December and a spring market that meets from march through may.

The Backyard Market is one of the biggest and most loved markets in Colorado. They meet at Log School Park in Black Forest every Saturday from 9am-1pm and have over 50 vendors at this location. Their second location is new and is a 30-vendor producer-only market that meets Sundays from 10am-2pm at 11613 Ridgeline Dr. The Backyard Market is a family-operated market that welcomes everyone with a smile, they started meeting in Black Forest on May 28th and will start meeting at Ridgeline on June 12th.
