The opt-in school district for the Westside of Colorado Springs residents is District 11. District 11 prides itself on “helping you prepare your child for a bright future.” D11 is part of the Choice program. This program was developed to give families freedom to choose a school that best fits their child’s strengths and passions. D11 serves around 27,000 students across their many school options and also offers alternative schooling choices such as the Academy for Advanced and Creative Learning and Globe Charter Schools.
